In this website, http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/08/130825171726.htm, you will find out that some fishes in the ocean is being affected by Mercury. The picture below will show you how disgusting this world had made living creatures that have done nothing to them.
By seeing this fish, I am starting to hate people the fact that one mistake could cause all of my dinner to look like that. =( So, by looking at this article, I would like to have my dinner to look more like the picture below.
In the University of Michigan, Scientist are studying Oceanography and Bio geochemistry. They observed that some of the Mercury global cycles are colliding with ocean fishes and human food supplies in the ocean. Most of the fishes that we eat come from the bottom of the ocean. it is said that the Mercury is slowly flowing down there as well. Most of the scientist are currently wondering how Mercury is even in the Ocean, affecting all of the within its reach. Therefore, Scientist are looking deeper into this situation, noticing that this Mercury incident is going to become worst within the decade. Places like China, India, United States, and many other places will be affected a lot. Even until now, Scientist are continuously researching Mercury within the ocean and how it might change the life of human civilizations.....
I like many things about this article to be honest. For example, I liked to know that what i have been eating could be affected with a toxic poison. Yet it appeared to me, that i am not dead.... yet. Because of this article, I become more aware of current events. That is another reason of why I liked this article. For the reasons why I didn't liked this article, is because it disgusted me. I mean seeing a fish the looks that terrible makes me worry if I would ever end up like that. A total infection in the ocean could easily spread to the entire world... But of course it would take a while.
I chose this article because it happened to stand out to me. Seeing infected fishes makes me more concerned, since I am a fisher man myself. It also runs in my family too. The only thing I hope is that when i ever go out and catch myself some dinner, is that i would not have to see a infected fish like that.
