Different Zones in the Ocean
There are 3 zones in the ocean. The light zones, habitat zones, and the lifestyles zones.
Light Zones has a light shining through the sea water, and also includes the following zones in it.
Aphotic zone, in which no light goes beyond that point but some sea creatures live there.
Disphotic zone, where there is both light and darkness, where animals can eat one another or hide.
Photic zone. where sunlight can penetrate through it, and where small creatures rise or falls depending on the season.
Euphotic zone, where sunlight is given to plants and animals so that they can grow off of the energy.
Habit zones is a different level of zones. It contains the following :
Hadal zone, which are found in trenches, which is formed by subduction zones.
Abyssal zone, which has muddy plains. Half of Earth is like an Abyssal zone.
Bathyal zone, which sometimes is a steep slope. The farther down it is, the harder it is to find food.
Neritic zone. which is shallow water right above the continental shelf.
Oceanic zone, where planktons swim up to obtain energy. But has a chance of being eaten.
Lifestyle Zones is the last of the three zones. It obtains the following:
Nekton zone: where fishes are/sea creatures that can swim or propel themselves.
Plankton zone: where creatures like plankton drift by the oceans currents.
Epfauna zone: where some plants and animals live right above the ocean floor.
Infauna zone: where creatures bury themselves underground and hide
