http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2013/12/131205141627.htm. In this website, it talks about the how sharks are intelligent, and how they know what they are doing. What these people were experimenting was the question, "does sharks know if you are facing away from them and plan an act of attack?" The answer is yes. Thats the imaginary me, fighting a shark.
The fact that it is really hard for you to see sharks under water, but they can see you makes it harder for you to survive. Sharks can sense that you are facing the other way, so thats when they go for an attack, or a "sneak attack." People went on this research, and actually saw how sharks acted differently when a human is facing the other direction. Then it thinks to itself when i wants to attack.
I chose this article because sharks always interested me. So far, i think i have caught a few sharks, and they tasted as good as they looked. These sharks though are really heavy to pull up. I basically injured my arm, attempting to pull one like a third of that size.... maybe bigger, but afterwards, i felt like a real man. =D
I like this article because it informs me that sharks are smart, not dumb as i anticipated. XP If sharks prefer to attack from behind, then why don't i turn when he does, until it gets too frustrated and leaves. VICTORY! but yet, there is more to find out about sharks than we know today.
